Game Recap

In the first round of the CAAC Cup the Gladiators lost a closely contested match against Lansing Everett Vikings. The game was back and forth much of the first half when the Vikings capitalized on a Gladiator mistake of not closing down on a player and a toe poke shot found its way into the back of the net. The second half found the Gladiators finding more opportunities at net but could not convert on their chances. The Vikings again found some space and chipped the ball into the air over Morgan Muck for the game clinching 2-0 victory. The Gladiators next match is Thursday at home against Lansing Eastern.
