2017-18 MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award

2017-18 marks the 29th year Farm Bureau Insurance has sponsored the MHSAA’s Scholar-Athlete Award.  This year 32 $1,000 scholarships will be available to high school seniors who meet the eligibility requirements. Please follow the link below for the rules, requirements and application. All applications must be returned to the athletic office by Wednesday, November 29th.

Pre-Season Training Available!

Winter sports are just around the corner and if you have not already started then it is time to begin your pre-season training. Pre-season training programs are designed with a emphasis on proper conditioning, focused on getting strong enough to succeed during the stress of everyday practice and games along with building trust among teammates.

Glads season ends at regionals

The Boys Tennis team ended its season with a 5th place finish at the MHSAA regional at Haslett.  We had 10 pts with 6 flights winning a match. Gladiators beat Owosso 8-0

The Boys Tennis team ended its season on a high note with a 8-0 win over Owosso on Tuesday night.  We finished with a 6-4-1(2-3 caac white) record.  We now move on to the MHSAA regionals on Thursday at Haslett.  Winning for the Glads  was Shaw Sova, Joey Quigley, Brady Salter and Josh Leonard.  Doubles

Tennis beats Lakewood 7-1

The Boys Varsity Tennis team upped its record to 5-4-1 with a 7-1 win @lakewood Winning for the Glads in singles was Shaw Sova 6-1 5-7 6-0, Brady Salter 6-4 6-3, and Josh Leonard 6-0, 6-0,  Joey Quigley dropped a hard fought 6-4 0-6 3-6.  The Glads swept the doubles all in straight sets.  Caden

Gladiators finish 3rd in CAAC White

The Boys Tennis team competed in the CAAC White Tennis tournament on Thursday at Lansing Catholic.  Fowlerville scored 33 pts and finished in 3rd place on the day.  Williamston won in with 39 and Lansing Catholic had 38.  For the season we tied Portland in 3rd place.  Finishing as runners up for Fowlerville and earning

Gladiators tie Grand Ledge

The Varsity Tennis team traveled to Grand Ledge on Tuesday night and came away with a 4-4 tie.  Winning for the Glads was Josh Leonard(4 singles) 7-5 1-6 6-4.  The glads won in doubles with the teams of Christian Montrose/Caden Flanery(1st) 6-0 6-0, Sam Browne/Tyler Sladick(3rd) 7-5 6-1 and Ben Buxton/Mason Sova(4th) 6-2 6-3.  Losing

The boys Tennis team drop a heart breaker to Portland last night 5-3.  Sam Browne/Tyler Sladick dropped a tough 3 setter 4-6 7-6(5) 4-6. Ben Buxton/Mason Sova also lost a hard fought match 4-6 4-6.  Winning for the Glads was Josh Leonard 6-0 6-3, Christian Montrose/Caden Flanery 6-2 5-7 6-2, Hunter Wilson/Shane Sibo 7-6(5) 6-2.
